Drive project completed in July 2015
The original drive was an old tarmac drive. Our client chose Avenu block paving, in charcoal, to be laid in the main area. This area was to be edged with 4 rows of Millstone setts, in colour Vienna. Our client wanted the setts to be laid at angles in the corners to add some detail.
The remainder of the drive, leading down to the road, was laid in tarmac edged with 3 rows of Millstone setts, with a key kerb retaining one side and an Ampliar edging, in colour Vienna, retaining the other side. A deep section of Millstone setts was laid between the pillars, at the drive entrance.
All the Stonemarket materials were bought through Russells of Baginton, with the help of Tim and Kate, and our rep, Pat Dowling. We laid 160 square metres of Avenue blocks, 90 square metres of Millstone setts and 90 Ampliar edgings.
We, and our client, are delighted with the finished result.
